FAQs about Pressed Flowers

  • We have a limited number of spots each week, so in order to reserve a spot, the sooner the better.

  • We love this question! Taking care of your bouquet before we get it in our hands will help ensure the best possible preservation. Here are some of our best tips:

    • Keep it in water (AND UPRIGHT) as much as possible as this will help the flowers stay hydrated and fresh. It's very important to refrain from placing the bouquet on its side to ensure flowers aren't damaged.

    • Store it in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight and heat (avoid leaving it in a hot car).

    • Avoid placing it in the fridge. While it seems like a good idea, the cold can actually damage some flowers.

    • If any blooms or foliage start to wilt, leave them in. We'll assess everything when we receive the bouquet and can often work around minor wilting.

  • Of course! We love working with bouquets from other great designers. We've pressed numerous bouquets from designers all over the Upstate.

  • If RBD is contracted to do teardown at your wedding and you've placed a pressed order, our team will ensure your bouquet is brought back to the studio eliminating the need to schedule dropping off.

  • Not necessarily- Depending on the quality of your bouquet, it can still be pressed! We try to save a few last minute spots each week, so if there is space available and your flowers are still in good shape, we can make it happen.
